Windsong Racing Yachts Press Room

21 January 2005

Email from Windsong skipper, Rob Meek:

"We finished in great style yesterday in a fresh Easterly trade wind, flying into the Bay under big spinnaker then headsail.  They put on a fireworks display at the jetty where we tied up and were welcomed by the traditional Bahia ladies and an ice cold Caipirinha each!"

Congratulations from Gumption:

... "our congratulations and salutations to Rob & his crew. They sailed that little boat out of its skin and to have achieved a Monohull Line Honours and Handicap First is outstanding. They deserve our admiration and applause."
