Geoff Meek
Heading up the Windsong Yachts consortium, top South Africa yachtsman,
Geoff Meek is no stranger to the yachting industry. An internationally competitive
one-design handicap racer, Geoff holds a record number of South African
and international championship titles and continues to race regularly. He
is the skipper of South Africa's America's Cup Challenge Yacht, Shosholoza,
which is currently cleaning up on the International Yacht Racing Circuit.
Felix Unite
Founder of the Felix Unite Tourism Group, Felix is no stranger to adventure sports and in particular boating. From starting a successful river rafting business to kayaking the Grand Canyon to competing in the Windsurfing World Championships, boating is in his blood. Felix has been taking part in sailing regattas from a young age, competing in various world championships, Admiral's Cups and Fastnets.
Erwin Bouland
Involved in international shipping, Erwin is an avid sailor himself and finished second overall in the last Cape to Rio race and first in the 42-ft class. Erwin gained his extensive sailing experience in Holland. Crazy about speed, he will be the one to watch in the next Cape to Salvador race.
Robbie Dove
Robbie Dove, professional yachtsman and principal of Ocean Sailing Academy, pioneered the international Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and American Sailing Association (ASA) training programmes in South Africa. He has been involved in sailing instruction, worldwide deliveries, yacht brokerage and consultancy. He has won several long distances races including winning South Africa's premier offshore distance race, The Vasco de Gama, several times. He is one of South Africa 's most qualified yachtsmen holding yachtmaster ocean instructor tickets from SAS, RYA and ASA as well as having been appointed as a RYA examiner.
